This set of three nesting tables was entirely custom‑built, with tops made from marine‑grade plywood and bases formed from 12‑inch PVC drainage pipe. After priming, sanding, and spraying the surfaces in a clean white finish, I painted contemporary designs on each tabletop, adding a few Trompe L’oeil surprises—a large colorful beetle, a small lizard, and a single marble that appears ready to roll. The finished pieces were sealed with a high‑gloss epoxy coating, giving the artwork depth and durability while unifying the set into a crisp, modern trio.
