Trompe L’oeil Fireplace Screen
I was commissioned to paint a relatively small fireplace screen. The client wanted it to have a vintage wood window, set into a sort of stone wall. The view through the window showed a path through the woods. In front of the window was a pair a red high heels and a decorative blue vase.

John’s Cigar Table
I was commissioned to apply a stain finish and paint cigars and cigar paraphernalia on the table, in the Trompe L’oeil style. This table is back in my studio and is available for purchase.

A Night at the Theater
This commission was to apply a faux finish and Trompe L’oeil elements to a small coffee table. I applied a green tortoiseshell finish to the table and then painted a reproduction of the clients lace table runner on it. I also added meaning elements to the client, such as theater tickets to their favorite play.

Game Night Sofa Table
I was commissioned to paint game piece on a small sofa tabletop that was created by the client. So I ass a chess board and chess pieces, playing cards and other elements. I never was paid the balance that was owed me for this small project…

A Mayan Table
I was commissioned to paint this large, and very heavy, stone finish table for a client who decorated his home in a very sophisticated Mexican motif.

Our Dining Room Table
This is actually our current dining room table. It started out as a solid core privacy door inside our old house. I turned it into our dining table. It was painted black and I then added a decorative bronze looking trim with various Trompe L’oeil elements.

Nesting Tables
I was commissioned to construct and paint a set of three nesting table for this client. She simply asked for something contemporary. The table are made from huge PVC pipe and marine plywood, on which I painted contemporary designs and Trompe L’oeil elements and then applied a high gloss finish.

I See a Seashell by the Nightstand
I painted two nightstands for this client. They wanted a sort of ‘by the sea’ theme, or, in our case, by the Gulf.

All The Other Stuff
This gallery will show some of the other furniture pieces that I’ve painted over the years. Not all of them though…
