All The Other Stuff
This collection gathers a variety of smaller or one‑off furniture projects—pieces that don’t necessarily need their own page but still deserve a place in the story. Some are older experiments, some were quick creative detours, and others were simply fun opportunities to try new ideas or techniques. Together they show the range of approaches I’ve taken over the years, from refinishing and repainting to building small functional pieces with a bit of whimsy.
This was a simple sofa table-top. The top was made by the client and I painted various game pieces on it in the Trompe L’oeil style.

This was a steel framed privacy screen that had canvas panels woven into it. I painted the panels to look like large sections of a broken rock wall. At the bottom I painted large tropical leaves and a very large beetle.
This was a hand carved (I think), chair, made to look like a butterfly. I was commissioned to paint the butterfly details on it.
